They provide employment and training for up to four hundred artisan cottage workers in their homes and employees based at the premises are also provided with free meals. Products are handmade with a mix of traditional skills and contemporary technology and this supplier has gone a long way to ensure their environmentally friendly status. They use solar panels, support tree plantation, harvest rainwater and shred any waste paper to use as protective packaging for their items. In the future the company hopes to create employment in more rural areas to help alleviate poverty and aim to be a world class exporter of handmade items produced with minimal damage to the environment.
